Grow Great Old One

We made this game during a 48 hours jam at school (HEAJ Namur).

The theme chosen was growth and we started with the idea of a cult praying to idols of great elders of Lovecraftian mythology.

The original idea was to make a rhythmic game where the cult would react to our entries and successful combos while the crowd would gather and grow according to our good performances. The world and style should have been more colorful and cheerful in the style of an Asian idol concert with glow sticks and cute dances for the Great Old One.

Who wouldn't want to see Cthulu with a uWu face and cute clothes dancing and singing to a scary but exciting beat.

While we loved the idea, we knew we couldn't create this concept in 48 hours. So we used a more basic system to create a basic concept with the little time we had.
